In fact, the hat came with a fashionable matching outfit from Polly's fashionable Aunt Rochelle, but Polly's parents were too lazy to dress her in the whole ensemble and found the hat too amusing to wait for an appropriate opportunity for high fashion (at present the little girl barfs on anything she's wearing within a few minutes, but she hasn't yet puked on a hat). PollyBlog will post photos of a more fashionable Polly at the first opportunity.
The next time she barfs on her dashiki (or kaftan?) please be sure to post. I fear they're terribly scarce domestically, but Bugaboo's Gavial remains the go-to line for exotically patterned garments for the upperwardly-militant infant.

Seriouisly I think Miss P has a better chance becoming a strongman than a woman of high fashion. Seriously shouldn't someone teach her how to match?

Sounds very Park Slope. All the infants in my neighborhood are wearing footed sleepers from the new Robert Mugababy collection.
